Finding your way around

From Reception, you will find St Vincent's unit immediately on your left and St Louise's unit on your right. If you proceed straight ahead from Reception, you will enter a wide corridor known as 'The Street'.

Along The Street on the right you will find the Pastrol Care office, the Activities office, and an entrance to St Catherine's unit.

Continuing down the right of The Street on the right you will find the Assistant to SMT's office and the office of the Head of Care.

Along the left hand side of The Street is the Community Lounge. The opening half way on the left leads to the Chapel and the Cafeteria.

At the end of the The Street, turning left you will find the Therapy Gym, the Sensory Room, OT consulting room, Speech and Language office and the Laundry. The office of the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Therapy are also here. Turning right takes you to the OT Kitchen and Chipperfield Room (meetings), Treatment room, Hairdressers and the Hall.

The first floor is accessed by the stairs on St Catherine's unit. The offices of the Director of Finance, the Payroll Department, the Staffing Manager and the Admission and Discharge Officer are all located on the first floor.

The Bungalows can be accessed via the automatic doors opposite the laundry.

Please ask any member of staff for help if you do lose your bearings!

Hairdressers

We have an inhouse hairdresser from the Activities Team. They are happy to do hair and beard trims when convenient for the residents. These can be requested directly from any member of the Activities Team.

Cafeteria

As well as meals provided for Residents, we have a cafeteria which is open to Staff, Residents, Visitors and Volunteers from 9:15am - 4pm everyday.

Last lunch orders are at 10:30am, later meals can be ordered anytime after the cafeteria opens.

Vending machines are available at all times. Please note, there is an area of the cafeteria (Sun Room) reserved for staff only at all times.
