About

Marillac Neurological Care Centre provides care and treatment for 52 residents with complex neurological conditions.

Marillac Neurological Care Centre is a specialist care and rehabilitation service based in four acres of landscaped grounds in Essex. It is in close proximity to the M25 and A12 for road travel and Brentwood and Shenfield stations for rail services.

The service was established and opened on 21 September 1921, initially as a TB  sanatorium, and moved to its current location on 8 September 1963 as a service for younger adults with disabilities.

It has grown and developed over the years into a centre of excellence that contains a full multi-disciplinary clinical team and state-of-the-art equipment. The original building has grown from the original Officers’ Mess into a light, airy and tranquil building with large wide corridors and a vibrancy of activity throughout the day.
